Adrianna excels in school, being accepted into the Gifted and Talented program in her district for the next two years and lights up the stage when she performs with her dance company.
When Adrianna was just six years old, her beloved grandmother passed away after a long battle with cancer. Not three months later, her father passed away, suddenly. Adrianna and her mother were heart broken. However, this
Adrianna bravely spoke to her class about the importance of organ donation. She expressed how her father had donated his organs to save another person’s life, and that, although she missed him terribly, she knew good came from her loss.
It is Adrianna’s hope to make her organ donation discussion with her school an annual tradition, as a way to continue to honor her father. Her mother, Theresa, stated, “The hope is that it will get bigger every year.”
